Through investigation, police determined the same suspect was involved in all four incidents. At around 3:45 p.m. on Friday, an officer on general patrol in the area of Dublin Street and Aylmer Street spotted the suspect and took him into custody.

A 36-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with four counts of robbery with theft, failure to comply with a release order, and failure to comply with probation.
