Workshop: Peterborough Public Library presents Indigenous Culture Series - What to Expect at a Powwow beginning at 6:30 pm at Peterborough Public Library (345 Aylmer St N, Peterborough, K9H 7E7). In this session presented in partnership with the Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre, you will learn more about powwows and how you can participate respectfully and joyfully. Also, see some of the different styles of dancing and have a chance to participate in a dance. This event takes place in the Friends of the Library Community Room. Cost: Free.
