Lecture: Sophia Hilton Foundation of Canada and Ganaraska Conservation present Mino Bimaadiziwin - Part 5 - Giiwedinong (North) beginning at 7:00 pm at Ganaraska Millennium Conservation Area (2216 County Road 28, Port Hope, L1A 3V8). A free five-part series in the Ganaraska Millennium Building exploring Anishinaabe worldview, teachings, and storytelling based on the four directions featuring Dr. Jennifer Meness, Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation and Professor of Indigenous Studies at Toronto Metropolitan University. North is the direction of Elderhood, winter, wisdom, and spirit. This session explores our relationship with Elders, knowledge, and the Anishinaabe worldview on transitioning from this life into Spirit.
