Celebration: Buckhorn District Lions Club presents 6th Annual Buckhorn Santa Claus Parade beginning at 2:00 pm at Buckhorn Community Centre (1782 Lakehurst Rd., Buckhorn, K0M 1J0). This year's parade will follow the traditional Buckhorn holiday route, starting at Foodland Buckhorn and travelling to the Buckhorn Community Centre, where families and visitors can enjoy the final festive gathering including photos with Santa, hot dogs, and hot chocolate. The parade will showcase colourful floats, local organizations, community groups, and a special appearance by Santa Claus. Spectators are encouraged to line the route early to enjoy the full procession as it makes its way through the village. In the spirit of community giving, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or household essentials to support the newly opened Buckhorn Food Pantry. Items can be dropped off at the Buckhorn Community Centre. Cost: Free (food bank donations encouraged). For more information email Lion Kerry Kotlarchuk at kerry.kotlarchuk@alumni.ubc.ca.
