SPARK Photo Festival presents Elizabeth Broomfield: "Canadian Nature Photography"

Date:Monday, April 2 - Monday, April 30, 2018
Location:    Brant Basics Office Supply (296 George St. N., Peterborough)
This Canadian Nature Photography exhibit includes a variety of nature photographs from different Canadian locations including the Rocky Mountains, Writing on Stone Provincial Park in Alberta and Change Islands in Newfoundland. I am an amateur photographer who enjoys spending time in nature. I took an introduction to photography course taught by Rick Langshaw when I was living in Lake Louise in the early 1980’s. From here I was basically self-taught. More recently I have taken a workshop with Ethan Meleg in Algonquin Provincial Park and another workshop with Mike Grandmaison and Ken Frazer at Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba. I enjoy being in nature and taking photographs. I do my own processing and printing. My objective is to convey the beauty and ambiance of the natural location for myself and others to enjoy. Open Monday through Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Sunday.
