For the Stairs Lecture in Chemistry, Dr. Lindsay Eltis, professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia, will explain how certain bacteria break down cholesterol and steroids, and how this knowledge helps us understand and potentially better treat disease including cystic fibrosis. The lecture takes place in Room 203.
