In celebration of National Public Works Week (May 17-23), the City of Peterborough is inviting residents to get an up-close look at the city's public works vehicles and equipment during "Touch a Truck," see live demonstrations by city arborists of safe tree climbing practices, and participate in a guided tree identification walk through the park. A total of 300 two-gallon potted trees (tulip tree, serviceberry, eastern redbud, white oak, and freeman maple will be available to registered city residents (limit of one tree per address).
