Author and University of London professor Sarah Lamble discusses their new book "Unsafe: The Carceral Roots of the Anti-Trans Backlash" with local poet and activist Ziysah von Bieberstein. The book examines how exclusion, surveillance, policing, and punishment have fuelled the anti-trans backlash and presents an alternative vision of safety based on collective care, solidarity, and transformative justice.
