An outdoor festival before the Friday performance of "Wild Irish Geese" featuring local farmers and culinary partners selling their products, artist talks and expert chats run from 4-4:30 p.m., with expert presentations and demonstrations from 4:30-5:15 p.m. under the white tent. This week, Kim Blackwell will discuss "Wild Irish Geese" with Indigenous story consultant and actor Patti Shaughnessy and the historical perspective of Irish settlers in the Peterborough region with author and Selwyn Township's Lakefield ward councillor John Boyko.
