A benefit for Crystal Parker is being held Sunday afternoon at The Dobro in downtown Peterborough.

The Peterborough woman was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer that has spread to her liver and blood, and will be undergoing treatment.

Crystal, whose spouse is local musician Shea Bailey, has a son, Brodie, who just turned one year old.

In addition to the benefit, friends of Crystal have set up a GoFundMe campaign at www.gofundme.com/crystal-parkers-fight-for-cancer to raise money to support Crystal and her family with medical and living expenses, and possibly to create a fund for her son.
