The Netflix suspense thriller "I'm Thinking of Ending Things", based on the award-winning 2016 debut novel of Kingston writer Iain Reid and directed by Charlie Kaufman, tells the tale of a young woman (Jessie Buckley) who takes a road trip with her new boyfriend Jake (Jesse Plemons) to his family farm, where they are trapped during a snowstorm with Jake's mother (Toni Collette) and father (David Thewlis).
