K9Crusaders aims to raise funds and awareness and find new foster families through November 16 event in Cobourg.
First organized by the Ontario Association of Interval & Transition Houses in 2013, the annual Wrapped in Courage campaign encourages community members to wear a purple scarf to show their support for survivors of gender-based violence within their community and beyond. Each Fair Trade scarf is unique, handcrafted by marginalized artisans.
