Theatre: 4th Line Theatre presents "Schoolhouse" by Leanna Brodie beginning at 6:00 pm at The Winslow Farm at 4th Line Theatre (779 Zion Line, Millbrook, L0A 1G0). Directed by Monica Dottor, "Schoolhouse" by Leanna Brodie is set in a rural Ontario one-room schoolhouse in 1938, where young teacher Melita Linton tries to guide a spirited class of farm children while helping a troubled teenage boy recently released from a reform institution. The play explores themes of compassion, exclusion, and belonging while celebrating the culture and challenges of rural education in early 20th-century Canada. Performances run Tuesdays to Saturdays from June 30 to July 25, with preview performances on June 30 and July 1 followed by opening night on July 2, and an added Monday performance on July 20.
