Festival: Peterborough Humane Society and Peterborough Mitsubishi present Pet Fest 2026 beginning at 10:00 am at Peterborough Animal Care Centre (1999 Technology Dr,, Peterborough, K9J 6X7). Featuring the Meow Market vendor market featuring local makers and shops, free ice cream, live music, food from Hanoi House, The Vine, and Till Death BBQ & Catering, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and a stuffed animal checkup station, storytime with author Judi Barr sharing her book "The Tale of Eileen The Timid Housecat," a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. for the new Memorial Garden & Park, and the first-ever Pet Fashion Show at 1 p.m. sponsored by Can-Pet and hosted by MC Tiffany Arcari.
