Led by female-owned and operated outdoor recreation company Paddle Like A Girl, this full-day paddling course introduces foundational canoe skills and practical knowledge for backcountry canoe trips. The course is open to anyone who identifies as a woman or non-binary and wants to learn to paddle in a welcoming, small-group environment. Whether you are trying canoeing for the first time or building toward a future trip, the day combines time on the water with practical skills you can use right away. You will practice tandem paddling, learn basic safety techniques, and get an introduction to trip planning. Cost: $180 (10% off for Canadian Canoe Museum members).
