A fundraiser in support of YMCA Northumberland and Northumberland Pride featuring the new Bubble Dash at 10 a.m. and the annual Rainbow Run at 10:15 a.m., with a 2.5 or 5 kilometre walk or run along Cobourg's waterfront and through the downtown. Following the race, the Lions Club of Cobourg will offer a celebratory BBQ lunch for all attendees with a portion of proceeds also contributing to the funds raised, which will support the YMCA's Strong Communities Campaign to ensure the YMCA is welcoming, accessible, and safe for everyone, including 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. A portion of contributions will also directly support Northumberland Pride initiatives. Participants are encouraged to arrive in their most vibrant, multi-toned outfits. Furry friends and strollers are welcome to join the festivities.
