Join the Peterborough Chapter of Right to Learn Afghanistan and walk alongside six communities across Canada, all coming together in support of Afghan women and girls who are denied their right to learn. What began in Peterborough in 2010 as a small walk of solidarity has grown into a national movement where communities wear red and rally behind a powerful call for change. Doors open at 1:45 p.m. with performances, information, a marketplace and light refreshments before the walk at 3 p.m. All welcome.
