This year's theme is Under the Sea and guests are encouraged to dress as their favourite artist or artwork. Emceed by York Bell-Smith and featuring sea shanties and pirate music by Matt Marcuz, a community runway show with costume contest and prizes and tunes by DJ Jasper, a guest performance by the Port Hope Artistic Swimming Club, a 'Submerged Cinema' art puppet installation, interactive art activities, photo booth sketches, a relaxed cardboard sea cove with viewings of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea presented by Vintage Film Festival, a Castaways Canteen area featuring a menu from Boba Loka and the Bewdley Lion's Food Truck, a fortune-telling merman, and a pirate ship experience hosted by the Shriners. Funds raised will support free arts programming and experiences in the community. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
