Festival: Township of Smith-Ennismore-Lakefield presents the Ennismore Shamrock Festival Truck & Tractor Pulls from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Ennismore Community Centre (553 Ennis Road E., Ennismore, K0L 1T0). Family Fun Day on Saturday, kids activities and games, breakfast and lunch fundraising BBQ, music, face painting, ball hockey tournament. Truck and Tractor Pulls start on Sunday at 12 p.m. Cost: free on Saturday, $5 on Sunday for over 12 years of age. Fair: East Kawartha Chamber of Commerce presents Lakefield Fair beginning at 11 a.m. at Lakefield Fairgrounds (25 William St., Lakefield, K0L 2H0). Come have fun with different events, shows and displays each day. Friday includes the 4H Dairy Calf Show, children's activities, and the Truck and Tractor Pull. Saturday features the 4H Beef Calf Show, horse shows, horse pulls, poultry show, ATV mud bog and truck bog races. Fair: The Peterborough Agricultural Society presents the 168th Peterborough Ex at Morrow Park (151 Lansdowne St. W., Peterborough, K9J 1Y4). Join us for the demolition derby, a reptile show, live entertainment, truck & tractor pull, tractor racing, and a tractor parade down George Street.There will also be the midway, the horse whisperer show and lots of fun for the whole family. There is a steady line-up of entertainment and events. Of course, there will be a midway with carnival rides and games as well as all the traditional aspects of a good old country fair.
