Editorial Policy

We personally review all submissions before publishing them on our web site. We reserve the right to refuse to publish events if they are contrary to our editorial policy.

Our free events postings are intended to promote non-profit community and cultural events, business networking and business news. Events submitted by organizations or individuals other than non-profit may not be included, as determined by our Events Editor and Publisher.

Post Your Event on kawarthaNOW ®

Note: We have implemented a new database system that assists us in getting your event online much faster. Please take the time to fill out each field as completely as possible. Your event will be submitted to our editors by email for their review for accuracy and appropriateness. As soon as your event is approved it will appear in the appropriate column. We may also post it in an additional column category. Generally we strive to approve events on a daily basis. Please be patient while we work out any bugs that we may encounter along the way.

To ensure that your event appears with plenty of notice for visitors, please submit your event at least two weeks in advance of the event date.

We do appreciate your posting!

However, we receive several hundred posts and cannot edit them all! Please do not use ALL CAPITALS. If you use ALL-CAPS in your entry, posting to the live site will be delayed while we edit your ALL-CAPS out.

Please use proper upper and lower case, i.e. Name of Your Organization, and Title of Event. If proper case is not used your post may be delayed or not posted if it requires extensive text-editing.
