The emcees for the evening will be 4th Line actors Paul Braunstein and Monica Dottor, both of whom will return to the Winslow farm this August for the highly anticipated remount of Alex Poch-Goldin’s The Bad Luck Bank Robbers which had a sold-out run in 2015.

4th Line Theatre is opening its 25th anniversary season on June 28 with the debut of Maja Ardal’s The Hero of Hunter Street, marking the 100th anniversary of a devastating fire at the Quaker Oats Factory in Peterborough. Dottor stars as Laura O’Brien in this play that examines the nature of heroism and the rebuilding of a community shaken by disaster.

Both The Bad Luck Bank Robbers and The Hero of Hunter Street will be directed by 4th Line’s Managing Artistic Director Kim Blackwell.

Funds raised at the Silver Lining Gala will go towards 4th Line’s off-season productions this year, which include Paul Braunstein and Monica Dottor’s Hallowe’en Walk of Terror in Millbrook in October and an Ontario tour of Ian McLachlan and Robert Winslow’s Wounded Soldiers in November (in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association).
