The Ontario government has released a list of the top 20 gendered baby names in Ontario over the past 100 years, and Marie and Joseph top the list.
Second on the list is Mary and John, followed by Jennifer and Robert.
The province, which issues birth certificates, has been tracking baby names since 1917.
For 2017, the top baby names are Olivia and Noah. Emma and Liam were the second most popular, followed by Charlotte and Benjamin.
The top emerging baby names in Ontario last year were Amelia and Logan.
