Workshop: The Seasoned Spoon Cafe presents Sprouting and Soaking: Grains, Seed and Grains beginning at 5:30 pm at Seasoned Spoon (1770 Westbank Dr., Peterborough, K9L 1Z7). In this workshop, learn the fundamentals of sprouting and soaking seed foods including how to get started and all about the nutritional benefits. A registered holistic nutritionist will lead us in learning how to sprout grains and green seeds as well as discuss how sprouting and soaking can optimize nutrition in a vegetarian/vegan diet and improve overall gut health. This workshop will include demonstrations and ainformation on sourcing seeds, equipment and different sprouting methods. Cost: $5 or pay what you can.
