Exhibit: Kawartha Art Gallery presents "Radical Buffet" beginning at 10:00 am at Kawartha Art Gallery (190 Kent St. W., Lindsay, K9V 2Y6). The Kawartha Art Gallery's annual juried exhibit explores the complex relationship between food, art, and society. The exhibit will feature a diverse range of artworks selected by a jury including Laura Love (City of Kawartha Lakes Economic Development Officer - Curatorial Services), Xavier Massé (Dean of Fleming College's Haliburton School of Art and Design), and Sarah Bell (photographer). The gallery is open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays. A ticketed free award reception will be held on October 17 from 7 - 9 p.m. at at the Pie Eyed Monk (8 Cambridge St. N., Lindsay).
