Exhibit: Arts and Heritage Centre of Warkworth presents "Sacred Architecture" by Ruth Shaw and "Lords and Ladies" by Kay Gregg at Arts and Heritage Centre of Warkworth (35 Church St., Warkworth, K0K 3K0). Ruth Shaw's "Sacred Architecture" brings together mixed media assemblage works made from repurposed textiles, found objects, and reclaimed fragments. Her work reflects on memory, preservation, and the stories held within materials. Kay Gregg's "Lords and Ladies" presents sculptural mannequin forms wrapped in vintage brass rubbings and layered with found trims and jewellery. Drawing on history, fashion, and theatrical display, the work is richly textured and unmistakably bold. Opening reception from 7 - 9 p.m. on Friday, May 1.
