Food: Hutchison House presents Scottish Tea beginning at 1:00 pm at Hutchison House Museum (270 Brock St., Peterborough, K9H 2P9). Celebrate the summer season with afternoon Scottish Teas beginning on July 2 to 5 and continuing every Tuesday to Sunday until September 6. Served on the terrace in the period garden, Scottish Tea includes fresh baked scones, preserves, whipped cream, oatcakes, and tea, lemonade, or ice tea. Complimentary tours of the 1840s restored stone house are included with the teas. Discounts available for members of the Peterborough Historical Society or the Friends of Hutchison House program. Advance registration required for groups of five or more. Cost: $15 for adults and youth, $10 for children 5-9, $5 for children under 5.
