Celebration: Municipality of Port Hope presents Port Hope Canada Day Celebrations beginning at 8:00 am in Port Hope. A full day of celebrations featuring the Port Hope Lions Club's sugarbush breakfast, show n' shine car show at Town Hall and Rotary Park, Yoga in the Park at Town Hall, Canada Day parade, refreshment gardens in Memorial Park, activity stations and food vendors, free wagon rides, live music in Memorial Park following opening ceremonies from 11:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., and a DJ on East Beach at 9:30 p.m. followed by a fireworks display at the pier at 10:15 p.m. Cost: Free.
