Heritage: Friends of the Douro Dummer Library presents "Celebrating Hunting Camp Culture" with George Gillespie beginning at 10:00 am at Douro Community Centre and Arena (2893 Highway 28 and County Road 4, Douro, K9J 6Y2). Hunting is a well-established tradition in the area and many people have hunting camps that have been in existence for a long time. George Gillespie will be speaking about the earliest hunting camp in Peterborough County which started in 1860. His book "Ketchecum Hunt Club, One Hundred Years on Catchecoma Lake" will be on display. Other hunting groups are being asked to contribute pictures and stories of their experience.
