Capitol Theatre and Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has partnered for the first-ever Community Day with two added performances of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." Based on the beloved comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, this Tony and Drama Desk award-winning musical comedy chronicles the adventures of Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang. Through hilarious scenes and toe-tapping songs, they explore life's great questions all while playing baseball, struggling with homework, swooning over crushes, and celebrating the joy of friendship. Book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner, with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Directed and choreographed by Rob Kempson with music direction by Shane O'Regan. Community matinee performance at 2 p.m. and pay-what-you-can performance at 7:30 p.m. OPG will be onsite all day to answer questions and provide information about the potential for new nuclear generation in Port Hope.
