Focusing on issues and service providers within the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County, this one-day event will bring together a multi-disciplinary audience for dialogue, shared learning, and collaboration around substance use and the Four Pillars: Prevention, Treatment, Harm Reduction, and Community Safety. Speakers include Lakelands Public Health medical officer of health Dr. Thomas Piggott, Haliburton Youth Wellness Hub manager Mary Sisson, John Howard Society of the Kawarthas-Community Integrated Care Hub program director Kristal Jones-Craighead, David Barkley and Alanna Ziorjen of CMHA Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge's Coming Full Circle, and lived experience panellists. The day will also include facilitated breakout discussions, lunch, plenary conversation, panel discussion, and networking opportunities.
