With the help from live education ambassadors, learn about Ontario's eight native freshwater turtle species, how to identify them, why they are rapidly declining, the important role they play in our environment, and how the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre operates as a non-profit turtle hospital. You will receive demonstrations on how you can be a steward in their protection (proper handling, what to do when you find a turtle on the road, how to help an injured turtle, how to protect a turtle's nest).
