Council had voted 6-5 the previous night in favour of deferring approval until a staff report on mandatory and discretionary requirements.

Original approved budget for renovation and expansion of Water Street and Lansdowne Street West facilities was $66.4 million.

Peterborough city council vote to allow demolition of Mark Street United Church addition

On August 25, council approved a controversial zoning by-law amendment to allow a 17-storey high-rise to be built at the East City property.

All three wildland fires in Kawarthas are now out

Over a week after they started, fires HAL018 in Hastings County, HAL019 east of Burnt River, and OFR001 near Kirkfield are out.
