Our top story for 2018 was the Peterborough Humane Society's transfer in April of 15 dogs of different breeds (including the Norweigan Elk Hound, Tossa, and Korean Jindo) from Montreal to Peterborough for adoption, part of a group of 80 dogs that Humane Society International rescued from a Korean meat farm, where they lived in terrible conditions and were fated to be slaughtered.
