A client for many years as a child, Adam became a strong advocate for the work done at Five Counties including by becoming a long-time volunteer.
From a fairly standard and non-descript landscape, the backyard space at Five Counties Children's Centre's Peterborough location has been transformed over the past three years into a lush, natural outdoor treatment and therapy space with many amenities that are ideal for kids, clients, families, and staff. It will be transformed again for the Backyard Summer Social fundraising gala on June 24, 2023 featuring alpacas, axe-throwing, inflatable jousting, classic picnic games, food, treats, and fun. Infant hearing checks are a ‘sound investment’ in your child

Five Counties Children's Centre is part of the provincially funded Tri-Regional Infant Hearing Program.
Deacon, Talon, Damien, Blake, Alexis, and Carter assumed roles as General Manager, Coach, Assistant Coach, PA Announcer, In-Game Host, and Radio Broadcaster at the Peterborough Petes game on Family Day (February 20, 2023), as part of the Petes' Next-Gen program that lets kids shadow the real people in these roles. The six kids are all clients (or siblings of clients) of Five Counties Children's Centre. Despite Five Counties on track to serve its highest-ever number of clients in a single year, nearly 2,000 area children are waiting for care up to two years.
